Melanie Damishana man died of fractured skull
A post mortem examination performed yesterday on the remains of 19-year-old Dennis Richard, who was suspected to have been beaten to death, revealed that he died of brain haemorrhage and a fractured skull.
Richards, of Enterprise Gardens, East Coast Demerara, was reportedly involved in an incident at Melanie Damishana, East Coast Demerara, on Wednesday. He was beaten by four men, and he died at the Georgetown Public Hospital the following day.
Richards was the victim of a brutal beating allegedly at the hands of the men who had called him from his home, his relatives said.
The police said that he was beaten about his body with pieces of wood by four men at Melanie Damishana, East Coast Demerara, at around 21:30 hours the previous night.
