GABBFF seniors set for August 10
The Guyana Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (GABBFF) will be hosting its Annual Senior Championships on Sunday August 10 at a venue to be confirmed shortly.
The best male and female bodies in the land will be on show as they seek to out muscle each other in the case of the males, while the females will be out to prove who has the fittest and best looking body.
Athletes are already hard at training since spots to represent Guyana at the Central American and Caribbean Championships will be on the line.
Last year’s championship saw male athletes competing in three categories but this year it has been increased to five.
Under-154 lbs, 154 – 165, 166 – 176, 176 – 185 and 185 & over are the male categories to be contested. The female category, which is open, will see competitors aiming to get the judges nod in the Ms. Fitness, Ms. Body Fitness and Ms. Bodybuilding competitions.
The GABBFF held its Novice and Intermediate Competitions at the New Amsterdam Town Hall on May 24.
