Celebrating the Queen’s birthday
The British High Commission in Guyana hosted the annual Queen’s birthday celebration at the residence of the British High Commissioner, Fraser Wheeler, Thursday evening.
Representing President Bharrat Jagdeo was Prime Minister Sam Hinds, who is performing the duties of President. President Jagdeo is in New York.
Here from left, Mrs Wheeler, High Commissioner Fraser Wheeler, Prime Minister Sam Hinds and Foreign Minister Carolyn Rodrigues proposed a toast to the health of Queen Elizabeth, the head of the Commonwealth and the titular head of Great Britain.
