(Kaieteur News) – A labourer of South Vryheid’s Lust, East Coast Demerara, was on Thursday granted $200,00 bail after he appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrates’ Court to answer a felonious wounding charge.
The accused, 37-year-old Jermin Summer, appeared before Senior Magistrate Clive Nurse, where the charge was read to him.
According to the police, the offence was reportedly committed on a 40-year-old construction worker of South Vryheid, East Coast Demerara, on February 1, 2026, at Vryheid’s Lust.
Summer pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail. The matter was adjourned to March 19, 2026.
