(Kaieteur News) – A 20-year-old Police Constable attached to Regional Police Division #2 has been charged with three traffic offences and granted bail totalling $90,000.
Elroy Lawrie was charged with driving an unlicensed vehicle, contrary to Section 23(1) of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act, Chapter 51:02; using an uninsured motor vehicle, contrary to Section 3(1) of the Motor Vehicles Insurance (Third Party Risks) Act, Chapter 51:03; and using an uncertified motor vehicle, contrary to Section 15 of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act, Chapter 51:02.
