(Kaieteur News) – Yohance Carroll, 22, unemployed of Tucville Squatting Area, Georgetown; Earl Grant, 23, a labourer of Tucville, Georgetown; and Adrian Greenidge, 23, a security guard of Cane View Squatting Area, Georgetown, have been charged for attempted robbery under arms.

All three accused were jointly charged with Attempt to Commit a Felony, ‘Robbery Under Arms’, contrary to Section 36 of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act, Chapter 8:01.
Additionally, Greenidge and Grant were individually charged with Possession of Firearm and Ammunition Without a Licence, contrary to Section 16(2)(a) of the Firearms Act, Chapter 16:05.
The accused appeared on Monday at the Leonora Magistrate’s Court #2 before Magistrate Omadatt Chandan, where the charges were read to them. They were not required to plead and were subsequently remanded to prison. The matter was adjourned to October 9, 2026.
