(Kaieteur News) – A 51-year-old Police Sergeant attached to the Special Constabulary died on Friday morning after collapsing at a residence in Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara.
Dead is Police Sergeant Stacy Noble.
According to police, Noble suddenly collapsed while at the residence. Emergency Medical Technicians responded and administered CPR, but their efforts were unsuccessful, and she was pronounced dead by a doctor.
Police ranks who visited the scene observed no marks of violence on her body, and investigators say no foul play is suspected at this stage.
Her body has been taken to Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, where it is awaiting a post-mortem examination.
