West Ruimveldt among latest Inter Primary School softball cricket competition winners
Kaieteur Sports – Action in the National Sports Commission (NSC) Ministry of Culture Youth and Sport (MCYS) and the All Sports and Tour Promotion (ASTP) continued for schools in Georgetown.
The tournament, which is being organised and coordinated by Senior Sports Officer Allister Munroe, has seen the return of Primary School Boys Windball Cricket competition in Region 4.
Action in one of the games in the Georgetown zone.
The matches were played at the National Gymnasium.
Results showed that – Comenius scored 22-2 with Nakeria Howard 16.
In reply West Ruimveldt reached 28-2, with Vincent Farley 24.
In another game – Enterprise hit 51-2 with Davon Abrams 29 not out.
Saint Stephens in reply – 40-2 with David Monroe 20, and Daniel Miggins 16.
Saint Pius Primary batted first and galloped to 74-1, with Akeem Quintin 22.
Tucville replied with 32-1.
Rama Krishna batted first in their game and made 68-2 with Kevin Klass 31 and Mikhaul Nelson 25.
Saint Agnes were held to 38-0 with Keshon Chance 18 and Israel Alphonso 10.
