(Kaieteur News) – Thirty-one-year-old Jose Armando Alsena Coll, a Venezuelan national, residing on Sheriff Street, Georgetown, has been remanded to prison for murder.
The accused appeared via Zoom before Senior Magistrate Clive Nurse at the Mahdia Magistrates’ Court, where the charge was read to him.
He was not required to plead. The charge alleges that on March 10, 2026, at the Iwokrama Protected Area, Siparuni River, Region Eight, he murdered Rodwell La Cruz, called “Kabaloo,” a 30-year-old of Warapoka Village, North West District, Region One.
The matter was adjourned to June 26, 2026.
