Westside Golf Course hosts successful “Breakfast on the Green” experience
Kaieteur Sports – The Westside Golf Course welcomed dozens of food enthusiasts on Sunday for its first-ever Breakfast on the Green event, delivering a unique blend of dining, leisure, and sport in a scenic outdoor setting. The event was hosted by Monnaf Arjune, Madewini Gardens Pools & Eco Resort.
Among those in attendance was former Minister of Labour, Joseph Hamilton, who joined patrons in enjoying the relaxing atmosphere, exceptional cuisine, and the distinctive combination of golf and breakfast.
GGA hosted a breakfast and mini game day recently at the West Side Golf Course.
Guests were treated to a well-curated menu while overlooking the lush greens, creating an experience that seamlessly merged fine dining with recreation. Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the event as a standout family-friendly experience.
Younger guests, in particular, expressed their excitement, taking full advantage of the open invitation to explore the grounds, learn the basics of golf, and even experience driving a golf cart—adding an interactive and memorable dimension to the morning’s activities.
Located just off the Crane Roundabout, Westside Golf Course is Guyana’s only public golf facility. Open daily from 10-8pm, it offers an inviting space for individuals and families to enjoy high-quality service, food, beverages, and desserts, while also providing opportunities to learn and play the game of golf. Equipment and balls are available, ensuring accessibility for beginners and enthusiasts alike.
Following the success of this inaugural event, Westside Golf Course looks forward to hosting Dinner Under the Stars every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (reservations available by calling 645-0944).
