Autopsy confirms hanging in death of Paramakatoi man

(Kaieteur News) – A post-mortem examination conducted on Thursday, March 26, 2026, has confirmed that 20-year-old Seth Fredricks of Paramakatoi Village, North Pakaraimas, died as a result of hanging.

Fredricks, who passed away on Monday, March 23, underwent the examination in his home village.

Government Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh, who performed the procedure, determined that the cause of death was compression to the neck, findings consistent with hanging.

Following the examination, the body was handed over to relatives for burial.
