2026 Sherwin Williams 2nd Division T20 Cup…
GNIC crashed out for 93-10 in 19.4 overs batting first, with meager contributions from David Dick (18), Roger Henry (15) and Ovid Richardson (11).
All-rounder Jonte Thomas bagged 4-21 and in-form seamer Delon Dalrymple 2-15 and seasoned all-rounder Marcus Watkins 2-20, had brilliant spells for the home team Malteenoes.
Replying to an easy total, MSC romped to 94-3 in the 9th over, thanks to an unbeaten 33 (4×4) (1×6) from Nichosie Barker.
Help came from Jeremiah Scott who added 23 (2×4) (1×6) and Adrian Hinds 18, who clobbered three sixes, as Jermain Grosvenor 1-8, Kevin Lindo 1-24 and Ovid Richardson 1-32 toiling for GNIC.
Barker, in another match, continued his form scoring 28, but it was his teammate and skipper Shaquille Mosley who punched 59 off 42 (4×4 2×6).
Malteenoes racked up 205 off 20 overs Thomas (24), Anton Lim (21), Damion Vantull (20), Watkins (15) and Jeremiah Scott (15) among the runs.
GYO Mystic Marvels bowling was a bit expensive despite Orandy King (2-35) and Terrence King (2-43) leading the charge.
Only the pair of Kevon Hooper, who resisted with a 25-ball 39, which featured three fours and three sixes and opener Lawrence Pellew 17 (3×4), reached double figures.
The seamers, Thomas, who had another phenomenal game snaring 4-6 and Dalrymple (2-18), along with Marvin Permaul (3-15), had another exceptional game for MSC.
