Kaieteur News- Police in Regional Division #4 ‘C’ are investigating an alleged discharge of a loaded firearm and the possession of an unlicensed gun and ammunition following an early morning incident at Buxton, East Coast Demerara on Tuesday.
The shooting reportedly occurred around 04:44hrs on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. The suspect was intercepted and searched. Police said a 9mm pistol was found concealed on his person. The firearm was fitted with a magazine containing seven matching rounds of ammunition.
