Dear Editor,
The maiden delivery by the opposition MP asked the pertinent question: where are our cultural heroes? Nowhere to be seen or had! No statue erected for them; no recognition given.
Just like the national awards, a thing of the past, our heroes are not being recognised, either alive or posthumously. This speak volumes where citizens contributions to nation building are cast to the wind.
So, ask it again: where are your heroes Guyana?
Regards,
Shamshun Mohamed
