(Kaieteur News) – With his return to the local entertainment scene Guyanese born soca artiste Marlon ‘MALO’ Webster has been creating waves with a new single called Carry on All Day. The soca song has been gaining traction daily with airplays on 94.1, 96.1, 97.5 just to mention a few.
MALO told the WaterFalls that the song is just his first for the year and it will be entered this year’s (road march) competition on Mash day. With Guyana carnival just around the corner, he said a second song should be released in the next coming weeks.
MALO who have been recording under (DP records for years) with well known producer ( Darell Pougley) who is no stranger to the public.
The artiste told this publication he has a (fan base) he wishes to keep entertained with his high energy performances and songs. Since 2007, MALO has been on the scene after winning the Carib soca monarch title and he continues to entertain around the world with (PRINCESS CUISES).
The name MALO as also became an household name with the company. MALO’s love for music is noticeable On and OFF stage and anyone that comes into contact can contest to this.
MALO has opened shows for both locals and international artistes over the years with likes of AKON, and NEYO just to mention a few. When ask what’s next? The artiste responded “sweet music and great performances.”
He said too “If you don’t know him MALO by now, it’s time.”
