Dear Editor,
Credit to President Ali for acting decisively with the Teaching Service Commission because the appointments could not be delayed.
Is President Ali not also aware that the swearing in of the Leader of the Opposition is absolutely necessary to manage the country’s affairs?
Perhaps President Ali will publicly explain why he has not given just importance to the Office of the Leader of the Opposition and use his executive powers to get the Speaker to do what is right.
Bewildered, disappointed, disillusioned and embarrassed.
Regards,
Faiyaz Alli
