Kaieteur Sports – Defending champions Chase’s Academic Foundation produced a theatrical finish against Jamaica’s Kingston College, pulling off a jaw-dropping 3–2 come-from-behind victory despite losing their captain early in the contest.
Shaquan David, Nyron Barrow, and Mark Glasgow sent the small Chase crowd into celebration as the team maintained its unbeaten campaign against a well-prepared Jamaican side.

Kingston College showed early signs of defensive resilience, while Chase worked the midfield effectively but struggled with off-target efforts. Both teams displayed technical quality in midfield, with Kingston making more inroads before Chase captain Bryan Wharton was sent off, momentarily dampening Chase’s momentum.
Shortly after the dismissal, the match took another turn when Barrow launched a fierce run down the right wing, drawing a foul that resulted in a red-card decision. Shaquan Elliot calmly converted from the penalty spot, putting Kingston College ahead.

Kingston College doubled their advantage when Riley Kevwaroo capitalized on a loose ball to make it 2–0. Chase responded quickly in the 60th minute as David surged through midfield and finished confidently to reduce the deficit to 2–1.
Exactly 20 minutes later, Barrow struck the equalizer, heading home from a well-delivered corner to bring Chase level and lift the crowd to its feet. The Ifill–Glasgow combination then broke the Jamaican resistance, with Glasgow burying his effort at the near post to give Chase their first lead of the match with just five minutes remaining. Chase held firm to seal an impressive 3–2 victory.
Earlier, Trinidad’s St Benedict’s College and Brazil’s Jose Viera De Sales Guerra were locked in a defensive battle, both teams showcasing disciplined backlines. Josiah Barrow eventually broke the deadlock in the 76th minute, securing a narrow win and keeping St Benedict’s unbeaten in the competition.
In other matches, Suriname Technical Institute handed Annai Secondary their third consecutive defeat, overpowering them 9–3. Jizzreel Secdoc starred with a hat-trick in the 25th, 30th, and 63rd minutes, while Darian Dors scored twice. Additional goals came from Shheen Nabebux (23’), Sennery Mac-Intosh (34’), Reuel Mesarch (75’), and Jonathan Gomes (80’).
West Ruimveldt Secondary also dominated their encounter, dismantling the Anglican Central Educational Authority of the Bahamas 15–1. Donovan Welcome led the rout with four goals, while Jeremiah Griffith and Dominic Lesprance each recorded hat-tricks. Marvin Sealey and Joel Griffith also added their names to the scoresheet.
