Kaieteur Sports – Defending champions YMCA, along with Silver Bullets, Hard-Knocks, and DC Ballers, secured spots in the semifinals when the ExxonMobil Guyana Futsal Championship continued on Friday evening at the Retrieve Tarmac in Linden.
YMCA edged the Salah Family 5–4, with Keyshawn Dey netting a double and Jonah Simon, Jermaine Padmore, and Kevin Gittens adding one goal each. For the Salah Family, Dexroy Adams scored twice, while Shane Luckie and Pernell Schultz each found the back of the net once.

Hard-Knocks also advanced after squeezing past Young Gunners 3–2, powered by a Kendolph Lewis hat-trick. Devonte Tappin and Omarion Ramsammy scored one goal apiece in the loss.
Silver Bullets cruised to a 5–2 victory over Bombers. Jermaine Samuels and Lennox Cort both recorded doubles, while Colwyn Drakes and Omar Williams added one each. Bombers’ goals came from siblings Shamiah and Dequan Samuels.
In another close contest, DC Ballers topped Figgy FC 4–3. Nicholas Gentle scored twice, with Antwoine Gill and Andre Mayers contributing one goal each. Emmanuel Atkins netted a brace for Figgy FC, while Shayne Haynes added another.
At press time, the semifinal round was in progress at the same venue. The tournament champion will claim $1,500,000, while the second-, third-, and fourth-place finishers will receive $750,000, $350,000, and $200,000, respectively, along with their accolades.
Individually, the Most Valuable Player will ride away with a motorcycle. Organizers also announced a $300,000 economic grant to support the academic development of a player or fan, with each team required to nominate one candidate for the scholarship.
