GTI to get new three-storey building
Kaieteur News – The government, through the Ministry of Education, is planning to construct a new three-storey Government Technical Institute (GTI) building.’
Twenty-six contractors have submitted bids, the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) office disclosed at the recent opening of tenders.
Contractors have bid between $559 million and $953 million to execute the works. No engineer’s estimate was provided.
Additionally, the ministry will be reconstructing the St. Cuthbert’s Mission Primary School, a project where 34 contractors have submitted bids.
