Dear Editor,
Governments do not decrease subsidies/ grants they usually increase same, but not in Guyana.
2023 my pair of spectacles cost $51,000. I took the relevant information from my Optician to the Ministry of Human Services and Social Protection. i.e.cost $51,000 less NIS $12,000 balance $39,000.The Ministry issued a cheque to my Optician for $24,000. I paid $15,000 in
I am appealing to Vice President Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo, to review the subsidy allowance or return same back to the Ministry of Human Services and Social Protection.
