Brusche’s Classic Saturday…
Kaieteur Sports – The battle to see which Georgetown/Linden club rivalry will collide for top honours in this year’s Brusches Basketball Classic final, is to be decided when the semifinals are played tonight at the Community Hard Court in Retrieve, Linden.
Battling it out from 7.00pm will be Georgetown clubs Ravens and Eagles.
Ravens knocked out Kwakwani to reach the final four, where they face Eagles who downed Pacesetters, to now challenge Ravens for a spot in the final set for tomorrow night.
In the other semifinal tonight from 9.00pm the two Linden sides, Royals after dismissing Raiders to reach the semifinal, face a Jets team which overcame Block 22 Flames to take a final four spot.
The task at hand tilts in favour of Royals and Ravens to advance, but their semifinal opponents surely must have other ideas.
The losers tonight will face each other in the first game at 7.00pm tomorrow night for third place, while the victors match skills against each other in the final from 9.00pm.
