(Kaieteur Sports) – Once again, there were no centuries recorded but a few half centuries in the last 2 rounds of the – Peter Lewis Contracting & Asphalting Services, Diamond Fire & General Insurance, Readymix Concrete and Permaul Trading & Distribution sponsored Big Man Cricket (BMC) T20 over the weekend.
Match # 25- Jai Hind Jaguars vs Legend Rangers @ Jai Hind ground- Legend Rangers batting first made 146 for 9 in their 20 overs. C. Seegobin was the top scorer with an undefeated 60*. Jai Hind Jaguars coasted to victory at 147 for 4 in 16.5 overs. M. Ali narrowly missed out on a half century to finish on 48 with P. Ramotar undefeated on 39*.

Match # 26 Albion Masters vs GT Royals @ Port Mourant ground. Albion Masters won.
Match # 27-Essequibo Masters vs Black Hawks-Reliance ground. Black Hawks won by a walkover.
Match # 28- VNS CC vs West Bank Warriors @ Belle Vue ground. The Warriors rattled up 172 for 4 with A. Ifill stroking a blistering 76*, Ferron Kadir 37. VNS could only muster 121 all out.
West Bank Warriors won by 51 runs.
Match # 29- North Soesdyke Masters vs Everest Masters @ Enmore ground. North Soesdyke Masters won.
Match # 30-Enterprise Star Sports vs Ex Berbice Police @ Enterprise ground. Enterprise batted first and posted 166 for 7 in their 20 overs. I. Hassan made a brilliant 80 & M. Karamchand 32. S. Paltoo took 4 for 32. The lawmen fell short by 4 runs- 162 for 9. S. Landry 52 & M. Durant 28. Enterprise Star Sports won by 4 runs.
Match # 31-Blairmont Hunters vs Albion Masters @ Blairmount ground. After being inserted in a reduced 17 overs match, Blairmont got up to 157 for 7 with S. Khan making 74 & A. Matabhea 46. R. Crandon was again amongst the wicket with 3 for 34 and D. Bishoo 2 for 39. Albion Masters paced their innings nicely to finish on 158 for 6 off 15.5 overs. Top scorers were K. Fraser 61; K. Mahadeo 28 & R. Crandon 24*. Albion Masters won by 4 wickets.
Match # 32-Blairmont Hunters vs Jai Hind Jaguars @ Blairmont ground. Jai Hind Jaguars took first strike and amassed 132 for 3 in their reduced 12 overs affair. Imran Khan was in awesome form to finish on 79* with M. Ali finishing on 40. Blairmont Masters flattered to deceive and folded for 83 for 5 in their turn at the crease. Jai Hind Jaguars won by 49 runs.
Match # 33- Essequibo Masters vs West Bank Warriors @ Reliance ground. West Bank Warriors won by a walkover.
Match # 34- Vintage Strikers vs Everest Masters @ Enmore ground. In the first match of the double header, Vintage Strikers posted a challenging 159 off their 20 overs. Andrew Lyght Jr top scored 42, Troy Benn 38 & Chien Gittens made 24. In reply, Everest fell agonizingly short on 156 for 7 when their overs ran out. Antonnel Atwell top scored with 48*, Larry Farnum made 34 and Troy Gonsalves contributed 22. Vintage Strikers won by 3 runs.
Match # 35- Everest Masters vs VNS CC @ Enmore ground. In a reduced game of 15 overs, VNS took first strike and could only muster 70 for 8 in the allotted overs. S. Ramzan was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 6 ably supported by Vic Mahabeer & Antonnel Atwell with 2 wickets apiece for 12 and 15 respectively. Everest Masters knocked off the required runs, 76, for the loss of 1 wicket in 5.5 overs. V. Lall hit 23 with 2 maximums & 1 @4. Atwell had a brilliant all-round match finishing on 30* (1 @ 6 & 2 @ 4) whilst Shazan was also undefeated on 18* (1@ 6 & 2 @ 4). Everest Masters won by 9 wickets.
