19-year-old miner jailed for 3 years for breaking and entering

(Kaieteur News) – A 19-year-old gold miner from Bartica, was arrested on Friday and charged on Monday with the offences of breaking and entering, simple larceny and break and enter to commit a felony.
According to police, Aaron Wilson appeared at the Bartica Magistrates’ Court before His Worship Teriq Mohammed, where the charges were read to him. He pleaded guilty to all of the charges and was sentenced to one year on each of the three charges, to be served concurrently,” police said.
The offenses were committed on Roy Defreitas, Vashisht Ramillian, and St. John the Baptist Primary School in Bartica.
