The sessions were coordinated by the BCB Head Coach Winston Smith. He was assisted by senior coaches Floyd Benjamin and Leslie Solomon, along with other coaches throughout the country at the various sessions. Their collaborative approach guided participants through fundamental techniques and drills.
The attendees were taken through both practical and theoretical sessions.
All aspects of the game were taught, which included batting, bowling, fielding, throwing, catching, wicketkeeping, running, etc. With the ongoing skill development, fitness work and game awareness integrated into the curriculum.
According to Smith, the Academy aims to develop local talent and promote discipline and sportsmanship.
