Kaieteur News – Twenty-four-year-old Mohamed Fazar Ally called ‘Rana’ was on Thursday charged with murder and remanded to prison when he appeared at the Springlands Magistrates’ Court.
Ally, a fisherman from Jackson Creek, Corentyne, Berbice, is accused of killing 38-year-old Gavin Daniels of Moleson Creek, Corentyne, Berbice on Monday night.
The accused appeared before Magistrate Tuanna Hardy who read the murder charge. He was not required to plead to the indictable charge and was subsequently remanded until August 28, 2025.
Daniels’ body was reportedly seen with multiple wounds and he was transported to the Skeldon Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
