Kaieteur News – A 38-year-old labourer was murdered on Monday night at Jackson Creek, Corentyne, Berbice.
Dead is Gavin Daniels, also known as ‘Talk to Me’ of Moleson Creek, Corentyne, Berbice.
It was reported that incident occurred at approximately 20:00 hrs.
Police identified the suspect as 23-year-old Mohamed Fazar Ally, a fisherman from Jackson Creek, who is in custody assisting with the investigation.
“The victim, whose body was seen with multiple wounds, was transported to the Skeldon Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival by a doctor on duty,” police said.
Daniels’ body was taken to the Skeldon Hospital Mortuary, as it awaits a post-mortem examination.
