Pomeroon man remanded after trying to kill family with drill

Kaieteur News – A Pomeroon man was on Thursday remanded to prison after he appeared at the Charity Magistrates’ Court on an attempted murder charge.
The accused Trenton Moses of Macasema, Upper Pomeroon River, Region Two is accused of attacking his parents and siblings with an electric drill.
He was not required to plead to the indictable offence.
According to a report by reporter Shawn Marks, Moses went berserk after he was unable to locate his girlfriend and attacked his family. The four persons: mother, father, sister and brother were rushed to the Oscar Joseph District Hospital in Charity for treatment.
