Kaieteur News – ATN International (ATNI) recently announced a strategic leadership transition aimed at further strengthening the company’s commitment to delivering faster, more reliable, and more responsive service to customers across all markets.
Effective July 1, 2025, Damian Blackburn, President of International Operations and CEO of One Communications Guyana, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors for ATN’s International businesses and Strategic Advisor to ATN International, the company said in a press release.
In this new capacity, Mr. Blackburn will chair the Board responsible for ATN’s International operations, strengthen relationships with key partners, and provide strategic direction on corporate development across the organisation.
As Damian transitions out of day-to-day operations, Richard Stanton, who has been serving as Deputy CEO, will assume leadership of the Guyana operations.
Brad Martin, CEO of ATN International, stated “Over the past four years, Damian’s leadership in Guyana has helped us to transform our business. Now, we are excited to welcome Damian into this new, expanded role providing strategic insight across all of our international operations. Richard Stanton’s continued leadership in Guyana gives us the confidence to drive growth and service excellence as part of our ongoing mission.
