Kaieteur News – A 33-year-old Sophia resident was released on $350,000 bail on Monday for three counts of armed robbery.
The accused, Rafael Hintzel, of Lot 135 Red Road, Sophia, Georgetown, appeared before Magistrate Sunil Scarce at the Vigilance Magistrates’ Court.
Hintzel pleaded not guilty to the charges, which alleged that on November 4, 2024, on the Ann’s Grove main access road, East Coast Demerara (ECD), he robbed 30-year-old Dexroy Singh, called ‘Bow’, 25-year-old Kishon Pompey, called ‘Breeze’, and 20-year-old Lawrence Pellew, called ‘Delwin’.
Magistrate Scarce granted Hintzel bail, and the matter has been adjourned for August 6, 2025.
