Bids open for projects at three sugar estates
Kaieteur News – The Guyana Sugar Corporation (GuySuCo), with a $13.3 billion budgetary allocation this year, will be spending portions of its funds to execute several projects at three sugar estates.
During the recent opening of bids at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board office, it was revealed that projects are set for Uitvlugt, Albion and Blairmont Estates.
Some of the contracts include the construction of a new staff club roof at Uitvlugt Estate in Region Three; supply and delivery of a mill turbine and double reduction gearbox for the Blairmont Estate in Region Five, and the supply and delivery of gears for the mill double reduction gearbox at Albion Estate in Region Six.
