Labourer remanded for larceny
Accused Romell Paris
Kaieteur News – A 26-year-old labourer was on Friday remanded to prison for larceny, when he appeared at the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrate’s Court.
The accused, Romell Paris of Princess Street, Wortmanville, appeared before Magistrate Dylon Bess who read the charge. It is alleged that on June 4, 2025 at Bagotstown, in the vicinity of the Demerara Harbour Bridge, he robbed Jermain Matter.
According to a police report, Paris pleaded not guilty to the charge and was subsequently remanded. The matter was adjourned to June 20, 2025.
