Berbice fisherman stabbed
Kaieteur News – A 25-year-old fisherman was stabbed on Thursday at Rahaman Street, Number 78 Housing Scheme, Corriverton, Berbice.
The injured fisherman has been identified as Najai Kempadoo called ‘Blackman’, of Number 77 Housing Scheme, Corriverton, Berbice.
Kempadoo was allegedly stabbed by 47-year-old Navin Sugrim called ‘Pumpkin’ of Lot 197 Rahaman Street, Number 78 Housing Scheme, Corriverton, Berbice.
The incident occurred at approximately 13:46h, police said in its report.
Kempadoo is being treated at the Skeldon Public Hospital.
