Guyana must show the world
Dear Editor,
Kaieteur News – Guyana has assumed the presidency of the UNSC for the month of June, with the President to chair a session on June 19.
Guyana must use the authority of these sessions to push the Palestinian cause, particularly a lasting peace plan and process.
We must not allow these opportunities to go begging or be squandered in this rallying cause. We must hold firm to the cause of peace and the end of all conflict and human suffering, despite pushback from those with a different agenda.
This is our moment to show the world that a small state can make a difference for peace and unity.
