Kaieteur News- Nursing assistant, Tianna Serena Lewis-King, who was remanded to prison for inciting acts of terrorism earlier this month, was released on $350,000 bail on Friday.
King, of Better Hope, East Coast Demerara (ECD) appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court before acting Chief Magistrate, Faith McGusty.
During the accused’s first court appearance on May 11, 2025, she was not required to plead to the indictable charge. However, during Friday’s hearing, her attorney made an application and she pleaded not guilty.
Magistrate McGusty released King on bail and the matter was adjourned for June 11, 2025.
The Guyana Police Force (GPF) had issued a wanted bulletin for King’s arrest, after she falsely claimed that she was present during the post mortem examination of 11-year-old Adriana Younge on April 28, at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation. Moments after the bulletin was shared, King surrendered.
