Kaieteur News- A man was on Friday remanded to prison for the murder of Chandradeo Singh, who was robbed and shot on March 31, 2025 at Hill Street, Albouystown, Georgetown.
The accused, Akeem Mullin, appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court before Chief Magistrate (ag) Faith McGusty who read the indictable charge to him.
The matter was adjourned to June 13, 2025.
Meanwhile, on April 10, 2025, the Guyana Police Force (GPF) issued wanted bulletins for 31-year-old Ryan Goodluck, whose last known address is Lot 928 Herstelling, East Bank Demerara (EBD), 21-year-old Tyrese Mullin whose last known address is Lot 25 Hill Street, Albouystown and 22-year-old Damion Bobb, whose last known address is Bareroot, Bachelors’ Adventure, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
The three men are accused of shooting Singh while robbing him of his gold chains and an undisclosed amount of money. At the time of the robbery, Singh was reportedly playing cards in front of a shop located next to the alleyway that leads to his home with Reyaz Ali and Mark Soodoo.
Singh, who resided at Lot 26 Hill Street, Albouystown, Georgetown, died on April 1, 2025 while undergoing a surgery.
