Kaieteur News- Two young men accused of stealing from One Communications, formerly GTT, were placed on $100,000 bail each when they appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrates’ Court to answer a larceny charge.
The Guyana Police Force in a statement on Tuesday said that 19-year-old Shivnand Dhanpaul of South Better Hope, East Coast Demerara (ECD), and 20-year-old Elijah Lindo of Vryheid’s Lust Reserve, ECD, are accused of stealing from the One Communications store at Better Hope, ECD on May 6, 2025.
The duo pleaded not guilty to the charge and are scheduled to return to court on June 9, 2025.
