Kaieteur News- Management of Ezekiel Funeral Parlour and Pathologist, Nehaul Singh have denied any suggestions by the family of Adriana Younge that they may have tampered with her corpse.
“We will never do anything like that. Her family can attest to the fact that the body came to us sealed and they collected it back sealed,” an official of the parlour told Kaieteur News on Sunday.
Kaieteur News reported on Sunday that the family of Younge had raised concerns regarding the storage of the body at the funeral parlour, with the mother, Amecia Simon saying: “I am being calm for now but I have no trust in him…he sealed off the body and said he can’t open it because it would look like if you tamper with the body. I said fair enough.”
Simon said her sister visited the parlour on Sunday since the body was to be transported the following day for the PME and tests at a private hospital. She alleged that the parlour refused to allow her to see the body but allowed Dr. Nehaul Singh to observe her daughter’s body.
“He couldn’t open for me to see, he open it for Mr. Nehaul Singh to see and told my sisters that he open it for Mr. Nehaul to see…we bodyguard that parlour. Me sister them and three of me friend them bodyguard that parlour whole night till the next day we ready to do the post mortem cause you don’t trust them,” she said.
The official of the parlour said nothing of the sort had happened. ” We do not do things like that and we are surprised the family would make such allegations. We categorically deny those things,” the parloir official said.
