Businessman on $150,000 bail for using computer to incite terrorism
Kaieteur News- A 37-year-old businessman was on Friday granted bail in the sum of $150,000, when he appeared at the Mahaicony Magistrate’s Court, to answer to a charge of using a computer to incite a terrorist act.
Dennis Persaud
The accused, Dennis Persaud, made his first court appearance before a magistrate who read the charge to him.
Persaud is accused of using a computer system to incite persons to commit a terrorist act, which is to burn speed cameras.
He was not required to plead and was granted bail. He is scheduled to return to court on June 3rd, 2025.
