Kaieteur News- The United States Embassy in Guyana late Monday night issued a notice indicating that all visa and American Citizen Services (ACS) appointments have been cancelled today and Wednesday April 30, 2025 due to “ongoing protests in Georgetown and surrounding areas.”
In a terse statement posted on its Facebook page, the Embassy said, “Affected applicants will be rescheduled and will receive an email notification with their new appointment date.”
“American citizens requiring emergency assistance may call 225-4126. Please monitor our website https://gy.usembassy.gov/ and social media page for additional updates. Stay safe,” the Embassy said.
