2025 Inaugural West Indies Breakout League…. GRR vs. JT
Kaieteur Sports- The Guyana Rainforest Rangers will be desperately seeking to break their string of losses when they face another team in dire need of a win, the Jamaican Titans when the two franchises collide today at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy Ground.
Having a mixed season thus far, 3rd place Guyana will be looking to rebound from their back-to-back losses, with the most recent being against the number one ranked franchise and home team, Legions.

Guyana will need some more magic from Kevlon Anderson and Adrian Sukwah, among others as they look to tur their luck around.
The Rangers have been coming together nicely especially with Kevlon Anderson and Adrian Sukwah both getting to fifties a few rounds ago.
Captain Kemol Savory along with players like Quentin Sampson, Rivaldo Clarke, Kevin Sinclair and others recently found some form with the bat and will have important roles against the Jamaicans.
Ashmead Nedd could be Guyana’s best spinner by the end of the tournament should he continue his form, while pacers Nial Smith and Ronaldo Alimohamed will also have crucial roles as the leading operations.
The Titans have yet to click, but with skipper Raamal Lewis, Kirk McKenzie, Tamarie Redwood and in-form opener Jordan Johnson, all capable of putting up scores, it’s the bowling that could be the department to watch for.
Spinners Jeavor Royal and Captain Lewis are by far the best bowlers in the team, leaving much work to be done by the likes of Zion Brathwaite and young all-rounder Redwood.
Rainforest Rangers should easily look to get past this round without underestimating their opponents and will be key should they look to shake their losing streak and get back to a position to reach the final stages. (CR)
