Kaieteur News- The Guyana Police Force (GPF) has issued a wanted bulletin for a 67-year-old man, for his connection to obtaining by false pretense.
Wanted is Neilson McKenzie, whose last known address is Lot 8 Water Street, Agricola, Georgetown. Police stated that he committed the fraud between March 7, 2022 and October 3, 2023. Anyone who has seen McKenzie or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the nearest police station.
Meanwhile, the Alliance for Change, in a statement, highlighted that McKenzie is not a member of the AFC, noting that in October 2023, he resigned from both the party and his position as a councillor for Region Four.
AFC asserted, “He had resigned from the party to pursue other work opportunities. We wish to express that he is no longer affiliated with the party in any way whatsoever, and is entitled to be presumed innocent of whatever allegations have been made against him; until or unless found guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction.”
