Kaieteur News- A 29-year-old man was on Thursday remanded to prison when he appeared at Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court on a charge of attempted murder.
The defendant Kevin Mohamed also known as ‘Pumpkin’ from Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara (ECD), appeared before Magistrate Abigail Gibbs who read the charge to him. He was not required to plea. Mohamed allegedly attempted to murder a 33-year-old male Labourer of Good Hope, ECD. The incident occurred on March 4, 2025 at Triumph, ECD. Magistrate Gibbs remanded Mohamed until his next court date, which is scheduled for May 7, 2025.
