Kaieteur News- A 33-year-old construction worker from Annandale, Sand Reef, East Coast Demerara (ECD) was remanded to prison on a simple larceny charge when he appeared at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
Azad Mohammed appeared before Senior Magistrate Sunil Scarce. He pleaded not guilty to the charge. Mohammed is accused of committing the offence on or between March 23 and March 24, 2025 at Lusignan, ECD. He allegedly stole $98,800 worth of items from Sherwin Sancho. Magistrate Scarce remanded him until his next court date, which is scheduled for April 29, 2025.
