Kaieteur Sports – North Soesdyke defeated Essequibo Masters by 36 runs when the teams collided in a 25-over cricket fixture recently at Farm, East Bank Demerara.
North Soesdyke Masters batted first and posted 200-8 with Leron Primo scoring 84, Anand Bharat 27 not out and Gavin Singh 25. Bowling for Essequibo Masters Navishaul Pooran claimed 4-36 and N. Mandala 2-24.
In reply, Essequibo Masters were bowled out for 164. Imtiaz Ganie made 39, Ramnarine (only name given) 27 and Zaki Salim 23.
Bowling for North Soesdyke S. Mohammed had 3-37, E. Mohamed 2-8, Ucil Armstrong 2-13 and Delroy Williams 2-18.
