Police Regional Division #6 organise softball cricket competition
Kaieteur Sports – The Guyana Police Force Regional Division No 6 has organised a one day, 7-overs 11-a-side softball cricket competition.
The activity is slated for Sunday 24th March at the Port Mourant Community Centre ground and is open to teams throughout Guyana.
There are a number of attractive prizes available. The winning team will walk away with $250,000, second place $150,000, while third place will collect $75,000. There will be other incentives up for the taking.
There will also be a competition for females with the winning team assured of $50,000.
First ball is expected to be bowled at 09:00 hrs.
There will be a well stocked bar, while Bar-B-Que will also be on sale.
The coordinator is former Inter-county player and OC No2 subdivision Assistant Superintendant Michael Newland.
