Kaieteur Sports – Upper Demerara Cricket Association (UDCA) pulled off a daring win by one wicket as they got past the East Coast Cricket Association (ECCA) during yesterday’s round of the ongoing GFSCA/DCB U19 Inter-Association Super50 Tournament.

In a low-scoring encounter, Upper Demerara Cricket Association pulled off a 1-wicket win over home team East Coast during their bout at Lusignan Ground.

East Coast were bowled out for just 66 in 30.4 overs, with Nicholas Shiopersaud the lone top-scorer with 17.

Bowling-wise, it was a two-man show for UDCA as Renaldo Grenville (4-11) and Stephon Sankar (3-6), did the majority of the damage.

In reply, UDCA had a horrible time chasing a low-score, eventually stumbling to 67-9 as they barely got home with Shiloh Adams (16) their lead batsman.

Neeran Bani continued his form for East Coast, grabbing 4-26 with support from Alex Datterdeen (3-16) and Sasenarine Harricharran (2-14), bowling their hearts out in a losing effort.
