These are words coming from the mouth of the so called elder in his recent column in Kaieteur News. He made reference to Ghana where the Army and Police seize power on Feb 24th. 1966 whilst Kwame Nkrumah the then leader was in North Korea.
I can remember during my school days on March 6th. 1957 there was a massive crowd of African Guyanese attired in African outfits taken over the Bourda Green which was an open field. They were celebrating Ghana’s Independence. I am sure the elder was in the crowd. I guess he is no more a fan of Kwame Nkrumah and could be suggesting the same happen in Guyana. Keep an eye on him.
Regards,
Kenneth Singh
