Kascon Engineering to provide one year assistance to youth cricketer Adrian Hetymer

Kaieteur Sports – The Kascon Engineering Services a multipurpose engineering Company of No 2 Village East Canje Berbice has decided to throw it support behind upcoming youth cricketer Adrian Hetymer.

The 14 years old Hetymer is the son of former Guyana Youth cricketer Seon Hetymer and the Nephew of West Indies player Shimron Hetymer.

The young all-rounder, who is a member of the Rose Hall Community Centre in Canje, represented Guyana at the U15 level last year.

So far has been in prolific form in the ongoing U15 competition in Berbice with scores of 165, 260 and 277.

Kascon Engineering, which is owned by Engineer Rafeek Kassim, has decided to sponsor the young all-rounder for one year.

The company has been giving back to the community in various ways. It is the first time they will be embarking in such a venture in sponsoring a young sports personality. Kassim a former cricketer himself still plays at the master’s level.

A simple presentation ceremony was scheduled for the company’s office. (Samuel Whyte)
