No one is begging Venezuela to behave. They know what the court has ruled and they know what can happen if they act aggressively and invade our land. We have reasoned with them long enough, and now it is time to wait to see if they will behave like fools or behave like good neighbours.
Maduro and the Venezuelan opposition have united in this act of greed. All Guyanese must stay on alert and be prepared for the worst. Any foolish acts by fools who try to invade our land will be dealt with by the GDF and our Allies in a very decisive and deliberate manner. Venezuela must keep in mind that our outstretched hand in neighbourly peace can quickly become a fist if they try to rob us.
Sincerely,
Mr. Jamil Changlee
Chairman
