Dear Editor,
From where I sit and stand, it is clear; the top judicial substantive appointments imbrogolio will continue. The previous holders of the positions, nominees of the then administration, were not appointed substantively and demitted office in acting capacities.
The situation it is perceived, will not change any time soon for the current holders of the positions. It was wrong then. It continues to be wrong.
Is there the genuine will to change the ongoing status quo or only when our respective nominees are in the spotlight it becomes a talking point? From where I stand, the impasse will continue indefinitely.
Sincerely,
Shamshun Mohamed
